The H&R is about as strong as a well-made S&W top break since they are of similar design, but not as strong as the Webly. The Webly has a stirrup that goes over the top, lending more strength.

I have succesfully used rifle primers as propellant with .30 RB ( well greased) and hotglue bullets.
Do make sure it clears your barrel, tho.
