for the speed i'm planning to push these...under 1000fps i'm hoping i don't have to gas check. I cast some up this morning now running over to the guy who powder coates here in town and see if he'll...
i have most powders lol. I'm now thinking (3am ideas lol) trimming 357 mag brass down to the point the boolit will fit revolvers as well as the ruger 77 mag and load hotter than 38 spl. I want to be...
I have a Ruger 77/357 that I haven't shot much because of the really bad trigger. Well I finally got around to it and now I find it so much fun with 38 spl loads.
I just picked up a new in the box...

actually I was surprised at the price and told the owner of gsi so. it was lower than it was. I won't say what the gsi dealer cost is but evenat retail is better than ever. I got the 9mm/38 setup...

I talked to owner of Double Alpha at the SHOT Show for about 5 minutes. He said that there are some testers out there with nose down units and that it is easy and only needed a new "plastic piece" to...

this isn't how it went down. Bill didn't send them "packing" They left because promises were made that COULDN"T be kept because of personal things that I won't post about. ALL are good people who...

I just poured concrete for the floor to my shed. a little more money but no worries.
Forum: Reloading Equipment
I can't see the point in reloading the 5.45. Even at $220 for 1000 it really doesn't pay to reload. I have been shooting it for 8 years now and first bought in at $125 shipper per can. I bought a lot...

I break it down to this.....reloads are for shootin' and factory is for hordin'. I have more of both than I will ever need no matter what happens. I started young!

I tried to add a second heater on the tube of my ballisticast sizer and yes it did make a mess. it would work if you set it up on it's own pid which I might do one od these days.

I've shot about 5k of my 147 cast through my storm. It get real dirty because of the blowback action and make sure you wear safety glasses. with acc #7 I'm getting 1271 fps out of it and the same...

more than likely you (the press) isn't placing the case all the way into the shell plate. there is an adjustment on the case feeder to fix this.

I don't think the nose down conversion part has been released yet.

I may cast up another 5 gal pails worth and sell the mold. 2-5gal pails will be a lifetimes supply (I can't pick the one up in the pic at about the 4gal mark) and figure I might as well pass it on to...

well here is a pic of a couple good hours of casting. I increased the cam wheel diameter so the sprue is easier to open after "camming". With the bigger wheel it is completely cut and requires little...

You haven't worked with the big ole' H&G molds have ya? They need a pretty good hit or three to open as well as it's hard to place the mold it hit the sprue without it hitting the bench or something...

Well I finally received my mold. It has been a long ride, over a year since ordered and returned twice for corrections. First was sprue plate was made wrong (thing it was old stock that they assumed...
