Ron, thanks for the advice on Onshape, I will surely have a look at that.
My problem is however not the designing of the parts in order to print them, but I do not have any dimensions of any of the...

Me too.....I do not have a bullet feeder for my Star, I cannot purchase it anymore since Magma Engineering is no more, but I have a 3D printer, so is there anyone out there that could design the...

Don, you do have it perfectly correct! I do have my RCBS lube sizer still, so if I really wish to start lubing my boolits again, I can always use it again. Thanks for the advice to go the Ebay route,...

Hmm.....I was looking for a bullet feeder for my Star to size PC boolits, but no one seems to want to sell me one that they do not use, or they are just not available.....
So, maybe I should sell my...
Maybe Miha stopped to add the very small bottle of lube with his molds......but as you say, any synthetic 2 stroke oil works as well.
They are so pretty when they first come out the wrapping that you almost do not want to start casting...but once you have them dialled in after about 3-4 heat cycles, man do they cast the most...

I do have a heated base, as I was using White Label's commercial type lube, and that was pretty hard and had to be heated, but it is a self made one.
But I have changed to PC some years back, and...
I agree with you here...there is no comparison between Lee and MP molds. MP molds are the very best of the best. I also have molds from Tom at Accurate Molds, his molds are top notch, NOE are also...

Thanks for that info Springfield. I was under the impression that you have to bolt it into the corresponding holes in the heater base. So that is good news for me!

Exactly my method as well. I must say I am "relieved" to hear that the thickness of the non stick foil is also a problem in your neck of the woods...I thought that it is only here in Darkest Africa...

I absolutely agree! I have several MP brass molds, and they like to be very hot, and like HATCH said, that small bottle of synthetic 2 stroke oil that comes with the molds, is a must on the underside...

No, I do not have the original genuine heater base, but I do have a self made one....if I could get my hands on a Magma Star bullet feeder I will make it work somehow.

I am looking for a bullet feeder for my Star lube sizer, if there is one somewhere not being used, I would love to buy it.

So sad to hear that...I want a bullet feeder for my Star, kept on postponing the purchase....now it is too late:killingpc
I will have to make one for myself now......

Thanks for your input on my "problem" guys! I only cast, coat and size about 3000 - 4000 9mm and 45 boolits/year, my right shoulder is the biggest problem here, it is in really bad shape, had surgery...

I did watch the video by Dan Dix about his sizing machine, also contacted him, but that machine is waaaaay out of my budget, also the shipping cost to Africa will be astronomical....

Country gent.....I could not have answered it any better, exactly my take on this!

I tend to fully agree with this....for seating and crimping use 2 different dies/operations, and make sure not to over crimp, I leave mine at 0.380", basically no crimp at all, just removing the...
