Your mould that casts .462 may be too big, and be deforming enough that your accuracy suffers.
Have you tried "normal" .458 moulds , and shoot the bullets as dropped?

Mild loads in the 40 S&W range will drop the brass right next to me, and make chasing down brass a pleasure! Plinking is "more funner" with mild loads and easier to find the brass.
