My Thumler and Harbor Freight tumbler barrels are made of rubber. The FART is plastic.

I have NEVER tossed bullets in the trash!

I own a Frankford Arsenal Rotary Tumbler (FART) and I believe that it is the smaller model. It seems that I read on this thread that it is not suitable for ball milling BP but I forgot the reason...

That makes sense......I just hope hope that a drilled through cylinder is not long enough to handle a .32 H&R Mag round.

.....and with 50 grains of BP...no problem!

That was a good presentation and I now am more confident on how to totally disassemble my 2 ROA's. I did know how before this but it is a great video!

Oh! Don't get me wrong. I have many 32's and love to shoot and reload for them but I have seen many that are not in good enough shape to shoot regularly. If this OP doesn't have much experience with...

As with Black Powder, you want to immerse the casings in water shortly after firing. Leave a brass case sit after firing BP in it and it will do same or worse. We are dealing with corrosive acids and...

If I have a choice I choose bigger since I believe that it is easier to size down than to Beagle up!.........if you even need to.
Forum: Lead and Lead Alloys
If I had a bunch of already cast bullets available, I would borrow or buy a new gun to shoot them rather than destroy them!

Is there a problem with using ceramic media with BP?
Forum: Lead and Lead Alloys
From my experience, those are in the form that I most see as pure lead. The fact that they thud instead of ring when dropped on concrete is another good sign. The color is also somewhat of an example...
