According to Midway the Lee Magnum Melter is made in USA, and if I add a PID there won't be a 2 to 3 hour shutdown process, so I guess I'll just wait on that to be in stock again.

Hello everyone, long time since I posted last. Midway has the easy melt and mag 25 in stock and I'm thinking about getting one for the PID, but I've only ever ladle cast with a lyman 10 pound big...

I ordered a new mold as mentioned in the title. Anyone have experience pushing that boolit with 296 vs unique? Shooting it in a henry lever gun.

I know it is not what you asked but I believe your best bet would be to pc that boolit. I pc mine and shoot them at 357 velocities from a 6 inch gp100 around 1500 fps published data.

Also I never did get quickload yet... I got a couple molds instead, a lyman 150 grain 40 and the devastator 45 mold.

The 7.2 grains of cfe pistol and lee 105 swc worked well for first trial. I loaded up 45 more to get some more accuracy testing done. the unique worked ok, but seemed less accurate than the cfe...

I honestly have a bad habit of leaving hp38 in my lee hopper. It is darkened a little after a few years of use, but not bad.
