Very nice.
Long before I got into shooting and reloading, my family owned a scrap yard.

I have never used a loadmaster. I did TRY to use a pro1000. I ended up giving it away to someone that I didn’t like. Lol
After the pro1000 I went ahead, bought the xl650 and haven’t looked...

It's hard to beat Dillon!
I really enjoy my xl650. I just hope that no one ever makes me choose between it and my wife.

The lady at the local home improvement store told me to stay away from the cheaper brands. She said that they did get dimmer over time. Maybe she was just trying to get me to spend more money. Lol

I started working for my Grandpa when I was in 5th or 6th grade. It was a scrapyard. I wish I was into reloading and casting way back then, because I seriously can't imagine how many TONS of ww and...

I'd try calling Dillon and see what they say. You might be surprised. If you want to do it yourself, there is a nice write up (its a sticky) on Indiana gun owners forum, under the ammunition and...

I'm sure you realize, but, with the 550 you do have to buy the caliber specific shellplate. You can buy individual parts from Dillon, or you can buy the complete caliber conversion kit from anyone...

I have the Dillon Powder Checker set up on my 650. I wont load without it. I really don't see how you can get a double charge if you're operating the press correctly and the PM is working...

Skip the Powder level sensor, BUT get the one that checks the powder in the cases! That thing is awesome.
If I were doing it over again, would get the strong mount (they make different ones),...
