I load the Lee 160 in both '06 and 30-30. Gas checked and alox or powder coated
Nice boolit, is pretty accurate. I use 27 to 29 grains of either 4895 powder with no filler.

Results are looking good. Easy to cast good boolits. It is a bore rider and first two shots were very promising.
Got an RCBS mold for 150gr 270 w/gc awhile back. Today the Lee sizer came in (.278) and gas checks should be here tomorrow or Friday.
Would appreciate any and all advice, except euthanasia.

The wisdom of the desk clerks of F&G Depts astounds me when it comes to reconciling a 357MAG loaded in any manner with a CF rifle that "must" have at least 1000ft-lbs retained energy at 100yds.

I was born in West Texas and grew up in Central TX. Mom Raised in North Central TX.
She had rhubard as a child, and grew it here and made pies with it.
Guess maybe it's just not done in Deep South?...

Once upon a time, the 357MAG was "the world's most powerful handgun."
Three have fallen to my Henry in 357MAG; first was a typical TX Hill Country whitetail doe year before last. Shot her thru and...

Golda's recipe is dark and rich and moist. Wrap up what you don't eat in foil and freeze. It'll keep for at least a year if wrapped good.

Here it is. Add some rum as described in other posts or into the mix if desired. This really doesn't need it.
Be sure to mix it in a very large bowl.

That's what I'm talking about. Most fruitcakes are ho-hum at best. My Mother-in-Law's recipe is superb. Dark, moist, better next year than this year if you can hide a piece in the freezer before the...

I just got a Henry chambered in 357Magnum. I cast and load the Lyman 358156 for my GP-100. Would this boolit work for deer hunting out of the Henry? What velocity? If not, what are your...

4895 22gr loads hit about 6" lower at 35yds than the 4895 25gr loads did, and the keyholing stopped, but it looked like I was shooting shotgun. The 22gr loads were real close horizontally, but...
