I just used 80 grit paper,worked for me.

I have been using a Hollywood turret press for years now and have never found name on it.Did have at one time a parts list ,since we moved I have a hard time finding any thing.

I have a 22/30-30 improved that I made up years ago.Shoots well but is hard on brass because of the stretch of the action that is a Martini Enfield.

I used a Preval sprayer I got Tandy Leather a few years ago,worked better than the sprayer that was sent.Have also used the finisher from brownell that does a good job but must be baked.

I have been shooting the Saeco 180 grain in a G-98 ,does not shoot to bad for a nearly 100 year old barrel.

I used these dies back in the 50,s,they worked well just used a heavy vise and lube.Must have been a labor of love though.Also used them to form cases.

If I remember correctly this bullet was the standard factory weight for the 45-90.

seabee,Have shot WC 845 in the AR and have never noticed the blow torch.I am shooting heavier bullets than you are using maybe that is the reason.

I would order a replacement plate from Lyman any way ,one of the thicker plates that do a better job.

Larry,Times bullets don't always come out as advertised.Only other suggestion would be to make them harder.

I think it is valid question,just that it most likely would not work since the oven would heat the entire mass.If you have an old workable oven give it a try.

I had a M98 rechamberd for 8mm06 back in the 60s, back then it was called the poor mans magnum.Haven't tried cast in it for several years,mostly use just a plain jane G 98.

For jacketed I use WipeOut,for cast I use either Eds Red or Kroils
