    Made a couple of taper dies on my Unimat lathe from yellow brass,also used the lathe to turn down the rims.Of course I later annealed the necks and fireformed.Some losses but acceptable.

    I used a Preval sprayer I got Tandy Leather a few years ago,worked better than the sprayer that was sent.Have also used the finisher from brownell that does a good job but must be baked.

    seabee,Have shot WC 845 in the AR and have never noticed the blow torch.I am shooting heavier bullets than you are using maybe that is the reason.

    I think it is valid question,just that it most likely would not work since the oven would heat the entire mass.If you have an old workable oven give it a try.

    I had a M98 rechamberd for 8mm06 back in the 60s, back then it was called the poor mans magnum.Haven't tried cast in it for several years,mostly use just a plain jane G 98.

    Several years ago we had here that were NMC at 100 yds.Never won any matches but had a lot of fun with a Mauser in 308 with Redfield International sights..I think I used a Lyman bullet.

    I reload my SKS with the RCBS 150 grain Flat nose. I usually take the gas piston out so I don't have to look for brass.Don;t remember the load but accuracy was similar to ball;
