I've taken white-tail with the Hp and the Sp 358156. The solid resulted in more clean kills than the HP. More penetration, I suppose. This was with a .35 Remington.

I use JPW only on .45 ACP. Several different molds. No Problems.

Seat it deep enough to pass the plunk-test, and don't worry about over-all length. I've shot a lot of that bullet in an XDM with 5.9 231 or 9.3 Blu-dot.

A friend gave me a Lortone QT6, it holds about two trips to the range .45 ACP brass. Takes about 2 hours in walnut and flitz. Gets them as clean or better than a Lyman vibrator and a lot quieter.

Anyone use Ramshot Silhouette powder for .45 ACP loads?

I have the Lyman 358156 double cavity. Works great! No problems and is very accurate in several pistols and .357 Lever-action carbine. Have killed a lot of deer with this boolet in .35

Lee boolet is 1 radius, Lyman is 2 radius. Lee has to be seated deeper to chamber in most bbls.
