I have a new question about the joys of Aluminum moulds. Instead of using a wet rag to cool the sprue plate, would a Heat sink removed from a VFD or such not work well. Anyone tried it?

My mould got here last night. Came a bit earlier than quoted. It is purdy! Cannot wait to drop some slugs.

After much studying and consideration of my limited knowledge, I just ordered this mould from Accurate.

I am going to keep loads a tad slower if the gun likes it.

I have my revolver. Moulds, brass, etc ordered.

I am not finding too much data for lower end loads. Would it not be safe to load 480 data into 475 cases......assuming the obvious and not "down...

What model of Ultradot? I'm pretty sure thats the brand they all used.

That is strange as everyone was praising them on .475 and .500s a few years back.
