I went thru 5 different Marlin 94 Cowboy Classics in .45 Colt, refused shipment of the 6th one and demanded my money back. All of these guns had SUPER rough bores, and would not shoot lead worth a...
His bullets are very hard. I tried them several years ago, and my guns leaded like crazy. They were of fair quality, just to hard.

I have a couple 92s in .45, one Rossi and one Winchester, neither will feed Keith bullets unless they are seated over the front driving band and even then they dont feed so well. However the LEE...
Yea, my thoughts exactly. I gave up trying to find a "properly built" Colt and have since bought four USFAs, they are built with proper tolerances throughout and finished very nice.

What kind of loads are you guys using in large frame Rugers for this bullet, and what crimp groove are you using ? Thanks
I have never used the bullet feeder option on the LEE 1000, but have been using these presses for over 20 years and can tell you they work excellent and without the feeder, 500+ an hour is no problem...

Ive got one lust like it in .45 Colt, pre-safety Interarms with nice trigger and action smoothed from shooting thousands of rounds thru it, looks like it is 100 years old. It is a great gun and very...

I would not drink from a flask that was made in China.
What would be a good "safe" but max load in this New lighter frame Ruger?[/QUOTE]
Well, you'll get all kinds of opinions from this question, here's mine for what it's worth. The New Vaquero's...

Yea, I don't know what the deal was with the .45 Marlins. I have had other Marlin levers in the past that were great guns and made very well. I guess it was just a bad run of luck.

Well here's my 2 cents for what its worth. I have two Winchester 94AE trappers in .45 Colt and the chambers don't seem any bigger than the chamber s on the 5 Marlin .45 Cowboys that I have previously...
I have just gone over 3000 rounds in my XD .45 Compact without a cleaning !! and no malfunctions of any kind !! most of the rounds fired have been LEE 230gr TC with 5gr/ww231. I have decided to clean...

Their are many theories about how much and what kind of lube is best and also what mechanism gets it from the bullet to the barrel, but really all that matters in the end is whether or not your...

I also just bought a 4-cav Lyman .44 cal mold and it drops bullets between .425 and .428 depending on the cavity. Called them today and they said send it back. It will continue to go back until I get...

The Carnuba Red is going to work just fine.
I have a Star and it is outstanding ! my freind has two Saeco sizers' and they work perfectly, they are just a hair slower to use.
I bought a Star earlier this year and it has been fantastic, easy to use and very fast. I bought the heated base and shovel handle and would recomend both. I use a lot of Carnuba Red lube and the...

I breezed through this kind of quick, so forgive me if I have misinterpreted something, but it looks like there is way to much thinking going on here. bottom line is that obturation is a GOOD thing...

I have lost count, but I figure I am at about 3500lbs of WW's maybe a snort more. I think this is the time to stock up on the WW's as that source will be gone soon.

Yes the 255-SWC is a great bullet, it will outshoot the 270SAA in all my guns across the board, and is a much more forgiving bullet to load for, I highly recomend it. I have also had excellent...

It is hard to tell from the picture, but it looks like you need to flux some more and get some of the impurities out of your melt. Are you smelting your WWs in the same pot that you are casting out...

5gr/Bullseye is a good load for the 230gr
