Actually I owned a Winchester 1895 in 45-70 Govt. and it worked very well. The receiver was made for the 7,62x54R and later rebarrelled. I sold it as I wanted to install a red dot sight on my rifle...
I had to check the WUM catalog ( 724 pages of sporting goods), Georg Frank, Hamburg, Germany. Printed probably about 1930, and could not find anything close to this pistol. This gun could be...
The leather rig seems to be some kind of reproduction? The wooden stock / holster has also a strange joint. Have you noticed that the cleaning rod / screwdriver has a mission when taking apart the...

The last thing reminds me of tools used in connection with drive chains ( splitting motorcycle chains)?
You said it,sir! There is also a peculiar screw above the grip. Seems that the original grip is chopped off and a new stock is attached with a screw trough the frame?

Wonder what diameter bullets you have been using?

I have been using the LFCD in my Winchester lever action rifles mod94 and 65 in calibers 30-30W and 25-20W with no problems.

I do not understand why the crimp has to be exactly at the end of the case. With roll crimps there is no other way to do it for sure. Itīs more a matter of adjusting the crimp groove on the bullet to...

As is was written, the adjustment is to screw the whole die in to get the crimp you want.

In my opinion this is the right way to do it! No need to remove any metal from the bottom.

Never had any problems with the 44-40 Lee FCD. The one for the 30-30 Win works well also, as I have never had any problems with cartridges in my Winchester 94 AE either. Bought also one for my .44Rem...

If the case is too hot it will melt. Annealing makes the neck soft again so it wonīt split. Easiest way to do it is to place the cases without primers standing in water so the neck is above the water...

The guide was made of two pieces attached in a recess with a screw on both sides. See picture of 1895 made for the Tsar. They were very common in Finland as hunting rifles, unfortunately a lot of...

It seems that the 1895 made for the Russian Tzar in 7,62x54 are different, as they were made to be loaded from a clip pushing the rounds straight down?

Most of the Luger pistol m/08 does not have a grip safety.
My Uberti 1875 Remington clone is very near original .427. Very nice gun with tight chambers. Does not accept CBC brass, prefers Starline and 200gr cast bullets loaded to CAS velocity.

I had a Desert Eagle .357mag about thirty years ago. It did bulge the cases at the base. I think the remaining pressure was high in the chamber when the bolt was opened?

The stock disc is new or turned backside out. The original stock disc should contain data about the condition of the bore and diameter. It tells also what ammo it is zeroed with.
I had a lot of pistols in my days, but the one that I am not going to sell is my Walther P99.
To make it even better, the 7,92x57JS is also called 8x57IS in Europe.
They are loaded in the same manner as the Nagant revolver cartridge.
