One other benefit of the RBBT bullet is simply a shorter "shank" so the extra weight of lead in the BT will not have the same pressure effects as one of the same weight and a flat base (longer...

First - welcome to swaging (or more kind would be to shout a warning and have you run away as fast as you can).
Ok, so it is not so bad... but like casting - this entire "roll your own" can get...

Here is my findings with the 9mm to .308 jackets.

I for one am glad to see you stepping up and providing a nice product to the shooting public.
Question:
Are all of your items available as separate items?
For example could a person order a...

This is the point that made me switch from my 9mm to .355 bullets into cutting the rim off (and extra brass) so as to get a different profile.
They do work as Duke pointed out, and it is a lot of...

I have used 9mm brass to make both .357 and .355 jacketed bullets.
I even tried to us the useless Amerc brass for this, it was hell to size them down.
I switched to softer brass for this.

3) Small businesses - many fail at this (myself included) but there are some small bullet makers out there.

Im am not sure if there is something about water and separating the media...
But YES it works much better if the brass or jackets are submerged under cleaning water and the SS media shakes off...

This looks like older reloading press type dies, shouldn’t it work with a standard cast O type press with some possible adaptor pieces?
Forum: Swaging
The older bolt action military rifles all are very good candidates for paper patched bullets, it is a shame paper patching is not more known and popular it represents a 1/2 step from casting to...

Is there any evidence for this statement?
Some items from Lee are problematic but to say that about the entire line is not supported by facts and evidence.
Lee dies are top-notch, work well and...

Exit pressure can cause a wobble to develop in the rear of the bullet.
Flat base bullets exit with a clean sharp edge to the end of the rifling and cause a nice even “doughnut” shape of propellent...

Like 30-06 I also have a .308 RBBT set of dies - mine are 8.5s VLD/ULD with a very long sloped RBBT.
It will make bullets from 110gr to 250gr.
The RBBT is a superior design to the standard BT...

That is not exactly fair...
There remains an element of true danger with casting.
Casting also is limited and cannot produce the same product - if you want a metallic jacketed bullet you are...

I have the .355 set for 9mm and it looks the same as the newer .357 nose.
I guess that they switched from the old to a new design that is similar to the .355 9mm.
I happen to like the design of...

Castor oil and Lanolin mix, my custom mix is about 15% Lanolin and 85% Castor oil.
Lanolin by itself or castor oil will work but for whatever reason the mix ends up as a great high pressure lube.
