On the mold mallet try getting a handle of a 4 lb hammer. Works just fine and it's cheap.

I melted a brick of alloy I didn't know what was in it but I did have some mushy oatmeal like stuff floating to the top which I just skinned off. Judging by the weight of the bullets I got good mold...

I joined about 2 years ago...I think...but only recently did my first and second try on casting. Thanks to the help of many who welcomed me to the forum I was able to produce about 80 bullets. Great...

I went onto their website. Confusing. What selections do I make to find the right mold? I want 9mm, sizing to .356 HP. They have brass, steel, cast iron as options. Which is easiest to heat?

Will do. Got new mold. Should be easier to get some boolits with this but we will see....

As soon as I get that mold I will get back on that pony and pump the heat up on the pot and the mold.
