Yes-One batch of Goex had 7+gn of difference. 2-4gn is common.
I only use Old 'E' 2F now, and it has been outstanding in consistency.

I suggest you anneal the case mouths, of those Starline cases.
I also suggest you dry the chamber before firing.......

Volume measure and scale weight are rarely the same.
Today's cases have less volume than that BP era(balloon head)because of the PSI of smokeless powder.

Use enough powder to compress 1/8-3/16", when the bullet is seated.

Go to weight for powder measurement only. Start at 68gn +/- .02gn.
Get rid of all but 1, .030 wad.
How are you compressing the powder?

Back the size die off from the shell holder 3/8-7/16 inch, and the others will work fine with minor adjustment.

That cut mark may let gas pass by when you fire it. Good way to lead up a bbl.

I'm compressing 2F 'E' about .370-.380 in both of my rifles.
Target says to do so.
I pan lube with DGL.
