Made up some Patriotic 45acp loads..

I've had good luck so far with the MP 30 Hunter similar to the pic of your Noe. No issues feeding in AR's for me and pretty accurate too. Still playing with some different loads, but so far it has...

Forged lowers will always vary a little, CNC'd not so much. When using a mill, one first determines the centerline of that particular lower and works from that. It really doesn't matter if they are a...

You'll have a blast! I did.. ;)
Forgot to add, BCG is also specific to the style of upper/bbl, AR-10 is different than a 308AR DPMS style.
Forum: CB Loads / Military Rifles
Excellent point, forgot about that myself.. but both of my 308s wear JP round tubes with no rail mating up to the upper. The add-on rails can be either cowitnessed or raised to match the profile on...

A 308 lower parts kit will fit a stripper lower, as electric said and the Aero lower will be compatible with all the DPMS stuff, including the pmags, I'm sure. It's as easy to build a lower up if you...

Tygar, yes the DPMS patterned 308 can use most any parts that are designed to be compatible with the DPMS design. Unlike the AR-15, there is no 'spec' for the 308. Armalite was first and patented...

Glad to put my info up... I have done two, both DPMS (because it seemed like that was the most obtainable parts-wise a couple years ago when I built these). The lowers were done from 80% CNC'd based...

Too hot to cast or smelt, so... yesterday we went to the range and melted... I swear my 45acp boolits were gettin soft before I loaded em in the mags! LOL
Took the spents that we recovered and...

I have built two AR's in 308, both DPMS style and both a mix of individual parts, starting with CNC'd 80% lowers that were made to match the DPMS std 308 upper.. both work flawlessly, no issues with...

This has worked very well for me with a bottom pour pot... the beeswax does a great job of reducing in the casting pot and the sawdust works very well in the smelting pot to remove the junk, perhaps...
I'm pretty sure that myth has been debunked well here... ;)
Many are shooting casts through std factory glock bbls with no issues. There are a ton of option to coat, as well as lube to eliminate...

Technically the garage, but it counts as reloading to me... lol
Cast and coated using Smoke's Independence Day Special... cheated, cause I didn't have enough containers nor bb's around, so I just...

Yesterday, a rainy day... good day to load up some Noe 30Hunter and MP 30Hunter in the 300AAC and the 308 for some comparison testing and continuing load evaluations.

I do this as well, since I use beeswax almost exclusively in my casting pot, I add a little at the end when the pot is cooling pretty well down to coat the surface of the remaining alloy and it helps...

I keep a spreadsheet of everything... keeps me on track and I know exactly what I have at any given time.

I do as Beagle, unless I am going to change up alloys (only have one pot :( ) and then I pour off the remainder after finishing the casting session into an ingot mold and pack em away for next time...
