The gun was kinda heavy and shot like a big 22! I think I had to make a mainspring for it. Been too long ago!
I did read there were 5 different cartridges based on the same case...

I once had a 9.3 x 72R drilling come thru the shop. That was a cool experience working on it!

Because .429 boolits lead terribly!
.430 also lead terribly!
.431 also leads but not as bad as above two
.432 also leads but is almost manageable without choreboy.
A .432 swages to .4315...

Thundarstick is dead on, just be careful to keep the sides perpendicular and only remove a little at a time testing as you go! Easy to remove- very hard to put back! Good luck

I also used the “degrease and blue loctite method” on all the scopes mounted through the years in my small rural gun shop- Never had one come loose (that I know of)
