My best load in my M1 is 34 grains of I4895. But that is pretty much unobtainium right now unless you find it at a show.
I have used 32 grains of 3031 and the 291 but had chambering issues...

The worst thing about lee alox is that it gums up the seating die. ever seat a bullet only to have it stick in the die and leave the gas check in the case neck?

I was able to finally buy a 7mm mould on eBay for my Chilean mauser.
It is a pointed Spitzer type weighing around 148 grains. I wonder if the Lyman cast bullet hand book first or second edition...

If that's the lee cruise missile, I would move on to the Lyman 266673 150 grain moulds or one of the excellent Noe 6.5 moulds.
That cruise missile is probably the worst 6.5 bullet you never want to...
Same here, ordered the Eagan mould from Noe on Thursday and was here monday. Cast at .312 instead of the stated .310
I really like that, I can powder coat up for my larger30 calibers or size down....

Here's a 100 yard group I shot with my type38 using Sr 4756 and Lyman 266673 powder coated. After pc the boolit is .269 diameter. Larry is right, slow it down and it will shoot.
