Very Nice gesture and congrats to the winner, if I had any .40 brass this is where it would be going. Thanks again for the contest.

Not sure if it qualifies but my 12 year old daughter (was blessed with 3 girls, but no boys) has worked her way up from pulling bullets to sizing and decapping bullets and wants to " be like daddy...
I also like Accurate, 2520 for .223 and Accurate #5 and #2 for 9mm, .38spl and .45acp with great results.

Thanks I am still gonna work up the load the same as CCI and compare before I mix and match for this 1k. Got a few thousand CCI today so hopefully I only need to deal with 1k of the federals

That is madness, I know some places are out of stock but I would spend hours online looking before I spent even half of that!

I use the RCBS Swager works well for me.

I prefer walnut media to corncob but that is just me, plus I can buy it by the 25lb box at harbor freight. Add a little polishing compound and they shine like new!

I usually use CCI small rifle primers for reloading .223. With the recent nonsense I was running low on primers and all I could get was Federal brand. I will now have to work up a load I am sure but...
Running it though the dishwasher minus the grips works too, just be sure to dry all the parts off really good when its done...and it will strip the finish if you leave the grips on.

These work well, used them in my Marlin 882 with no problems.

A properly bedded barrel/stock should not allow the barrel to move like that...something doesn't sound right

Copper washed shoot cleaner for me but not any more accurate in my Ruger 10/22

Wow, thanks for the links, I was looking for a place to start reading up as I have never casted in my life but really want to get into it.

Don't mean to ask a stupid question but what difference does the barrel make?

It makes me sick to think about how many ar's I have had and sold :(

I do not recommend the receiver cover scope mount, from my experience it would not indeed hold a zero.
Put one on a new ar and the bullets grouped nicely but walked all over the paper...would not buy another.

Wow that is inspiring, may have to try that out myself!!
Accurate #2 works for both and I have used it for .38 as well.
