I'm further south, but you are absolutely correct. There should be no season or hunting restrictions on pythons or hogs, and I am not wrasslin a snake. It gets a dose of birdshot. It is amazing...

Fired two or three of them. Hate them. I like and own several KelTec products so no animosity to the company, but I do not like that weapon.

Yep, I size my cast for .300 Blackout to .310 . No issues feeding.

There must be some pressure there. What caused it to blow out?
Forum: Military Rifles
Watch the video John. The Vortex rep says there is no trigger block with the sighting system whatsoever. So no, you do not need an acquired target for it to fire per that statement.
Forum: The Star Equipment Corner
Well, despite whatever brand is used I still believe an insert is a much more lasting repair if the bolt is removed and replaced on a regular basis.
Forum: Casting Equipment
I just remove them, use a tooth pick or wooden skewer to put some Gorilla glue in the handle and then put them back on using a rubber hammer to seat them really well. Never had any come loose after...

Better be prepared to write a BIG check. I can't imagine the price of the optic alone.
Forum: The Star Equipment Corner
I do not know how the Star works, but I am not a fan of helicoils. Timeserts are a much better repair especially if that bolt gets adjusted or goes in and out on a regular basis.

Looking through Fulton Armory's website I am a bit dismayed by their adamant opposition to reloading.
Forum: Cast Boolits
That would be great ordering a new one, but what about many of us that already have them.? No flames meant. I have the same mold in that video and without nose sizing it is really hit or miss on...
Forum: Cast Boolits
Difficult video to sit through (for me anyway) Skip to about the 22 mark and you will get the nose sizing portion.
Forum: Cast Boolits
Yes sir. I had a couple of Lee push throughs but when I needed a couple of new sizes I went with the NOE setup. While initial kit is a bit more adding size bushings is dirt cheap and I believe more...
Forum: Cast Boolits
It is to me. Cleaner on my hands when loading mags, no smoke from lube and being capable of faster velocities if desired. I hated the mess of using a lube sizer and handling the boolits afterward. ...

The 6-24 is on my 100yd CZ. No need for a spotting scope.
Forum: Rimfire Area
There really is no such thing as a "rimfire scope" anymore. I have one with a 6-24 Nikon, one with a 3-8 Leupold and recently acquired vintage Weaver 4x for a vintage Remington 550-1. What is the...

I have friends in Philly that felt it and also one in Delaware that noticed things moving about on tables.

Sadly, the majority of posters in this thread show no recent activity. We have lost a lot of talent and knowledge over the years.

Be thankful you got the investment funds back. It is a simple matter to roll it into a new IRA fund but it must be done quickly to avoid any tax penalties.

Parents were from Russell Springs and Columbia. I grew up in Louisville. It is beautiful around Lake Cumberland, spent a lot of time fishing that lake and also bellow the dam for trout and walleye....

If you decide to go the route of changeable inserts look at NOE. They have had them for quite a while and in my opinion with a better finish. I have a few of the old Lee push through dies and still...
