Thanks. These screen shots don't do it justice. Once I get it, I'll post better pics.

Those are all nice pistols. I'm really stoked about mine. I've cast up some 148gr WC boolits from a MiHec mold I've had for ages. Plan to use some HP-38 since that's what I've got around.
Awaiting shipment of a J Post Custom PPC built on a S&W Model 10. Anybody out there have a PPC revolver from the 70s/80s?

Found what you are referring to on opposite corners of each block. Allen flat-head, counter sunk bolt so you can set up depending on your hand preference.
Thanks for the info.

I was casting with my 6-cavity MiHec mold today and noticed something. Are these set up to add the Lee sprue lever from Lee's 6-cavity molds? If so, I really feel dense that I'm just noticing...
Can anyone tell me anything about these. From what I can find these might have been made by Dan Wesson between '74 and '75 and roll stamped and sold by HS. I've always wanted a DW 357 but they have...

I've been contemplating a simple wire or fiberglass mesh and 1x2 contraption that would quickly attach and detach to your shooting lane via simple clamps that would either deflect or deflect and...
Sounds like it is down the middle on case gauge vs plunk test. All good info on that.
I've always used a Lee FCD on my pistol rounds (all revolver rounds) with no issues. Is there something...
Yep not sure. I kinda went off half cocked so to speak. Decided on cast vs plated bullets before I thought about possible throat issues. Guess we will see.
So I'm finally gonna start reloading for 45ACP. First autoloader reloading attempt. I know this headspaces off the case mouth and thought I might better work with a case gauge at least for a bit. ...
Okay so I understand that you want the throats for a 41 caliber cylinder to normally be .4125 but does this preclude the use of .4115 boolit diameters? What happens if the boolit isn't sized to the...
I bought a Pony Express model from Sun Welding Co out of southern cali. Awesome safe. Base starting guage on walls BUT you can upgrade it whatever you wish. Mine came in at 1100 pounds.
Treetop no transposition of digits. This was a natural caliber extension of an NOE GB of their 360-160 Type III WC off the original LYMAN 358432 wadcutter. NOE ran the 360 and then did one in 41,...
Thanks Gary for the info. I too have the same boolit in 358 and 412. Just cast the 41 and 45 today. Love it 358 to the point I can use this design solely for revolvers.
I cast up some of the 454432 NOE that weigh out at 268ish grains. I'm having a problem finding load data for this weight. Can I use 260gr data or 300gr data and what should I expect for speeds each...
Beagle long time, no talk. That's the one I was figuring was close. I've emailed them as well asking and referenced that one. I'll ask them how to get additional made but who knows.
You can't...
Has NOE done this one yet? If not, any interest in having it made? If he has, which boolit is it and how do we get him to replenish his stock?

I've been reading Mr Wolf's book like crazy. One thing I'm concentrating on is the part about sight settings for various loads which is great expect I'm shooting smokeless with the Buffington sight....

Thanks beltfed. I haven't moved I to black powder yet but will come back to this when I move that way.

If you'd told me you'd done this over a 2 to 3 day time frame, I'd said you were from TX.
I'm not an expert by any means but looking at your data, it seems you could use 36gr of any of those...

Chill I might take you up on the offer of the .463 lubesizer die. I haven't yet cast a boolit in my new mold so don't know what I'll actually get. Thanks for the offer.

You got that right. Rifle coming from Oregon went to ID and then back to NM. Not sure why it had to do that? Maybe the Old Warrior Gods wanted it to make one more trip across the part of the...

Another question I have is on loads.
Lyman's 3rd addition Cast manual shows a starting load of IMR4198 for their 420gr 457193 of 21.5gr with a 1/2gr dacron wad for 952fps, HOWEVER, the 4th...
