LAGS,
Thank you for the information. If it's slower than BP, I won't bother playing with it. Right now, I have a pound of PIRODEX I haven't opened yet. My biggest problem now is finding a place to...

I'm looking for a 9mm barrel blank aprox. 21-22" long and 1" in dia. This is for a Kids size BP rifle project. The places I've checked so far are out of stock, or pistol length.

My, "Hunt" was several years ago, but at that time ground bison was $16.00 a pound at Safeway.
480 lbs of meat and a European skull mount, I just about broke even. I didn't take the hide as it...

I did my one and only, "Guided" Bison hunt in Utah. It was like shooting a VW in a Wallmart parking lot. :-|
I didn't really feel like I was hunting. After the first shot, it just stood there. The...

The wife and I found out that it takes 2 people almost 4 years to eat 380 lbs of Bison, but I'm not shooting anymore turkeys though.
The flavor was good, but they were like trying to chew...

Bought one in .22 cal. last year and was slightly intimidated by its size, (Length) but it's not that heavy and handles well.
The accuracy is good and I like the rotary magazine. As for power, I...

Here in Washington State, I have a Disabled Veterans State parks Pass and a Federal Parks Pass. I also get my fishing licenses for I think it was $18.00. Been a while since I hunted and bought turkey...
I needed a .459 sizer for the bullets I cast for my .458S and not having a piece of threaded stock to start with, I thought, why not brace the die from the bottom. I turned and bored a piece of...
I had problems with my seating tool deforming hollow point bullets, so I made a tool that
pushed them down from the inside. I used a threaded rod that I profiled in my drill press.

OK, OK. I should have looked a little further into the existence of, "Convertibles".
Forum: Muzzleloading.
I can see the feasibility of a conversion as percussion caps could have been a scarce item on the early frontier.

Forum: Muzzleloading.
That would be quite a trick as the Pan is usually part of the barrel on a flint and the drum with the nipple
