I can't get past the mudder tires on the BBQ trailer. To me seeing mudders on a trailer is as wrong as most of these pistols.

You could also put on an Aimpoint Micro with a 3x magnifier behind it. That gets a little pricey, but if you have another gun to flip-flop them around on, it may be economical.

Probably an oversimplification, but... XTPs for hunting, Gold.Dot for home defense, as they are supposed to expand at lower velocities.

Do your groups begin to open up with the higher velocity? I'd make sure the leading is actually affecting performance before changing things.
