I don't know about Parsons but I had good luck with Iron Sight Inc. They told me up front it would be a long wait and it was almost a year. Mine was an old claw mounted scope for a drilling. Came...

Over on the Marlin owners website they have pictures of those same factory bullets with a waxy lube. Some of the early Factory loads had bullet lube on jacketed bullets

Really well that explains why I have had to drive the cases in with a big hammer. Sorry couldn't help myself. This 44 was relined and chambered in 25-20 wcf before I bought it. As interesting as the...

I think the old weaver K10 might work with the scope block spacing on my Stevens. But I'm enjoying the peep sight for now. I would really love to get a low wall but I couldn't find one I can afford...

I'm not sure yet. I've just been trying to get it to shoot accurately. I did try some slow powder 2015 and got it up to about 1,400 feet per second with reasonable accuracy. I have some Lil gun and...

Had an educational moment. I have two different 25-20wcf's. One is a rather weak Stevens and I cast a bunch of soft NOE 260-85-FN boolits for mild loads. Shot great in the old girl. I then decided I...

Just thought I would bring people up to date. After getting a mold and some great advice from "35Remington" over on the Marlin Owner site I have to say I really like the way the Stevens44 shoots. 5.5...

As I said before I would go 25-20 WCF. In fact I will put my money where my mouth is. I just bought a Ruger#3 in .22 Hornet on Gunbroker. Still waiting to receive it. Unless it turns out to be a...

I know what you mean about being young and dumb. When I first got my Marlin 1895 I focused on hot loads and and now as I get older the 330 grain Gould bullet is my standard. It's all I need for...

Thanks guys for the ideas. If I have the barrel re-bored I will have months to work on the stock. Although the point about seeing how well it shoots with the barrel band is a good one. I guess I...

I'm waiting to get a Ruger #3 in 22 Hornet from Gunbroker. I'm looking for ideas for reworking the front stock to get rid of the barrel band. Any one out there that has done theirs and want to show...
I just sent you a PM. I have 92 cases formed from 30-30 or 25-35 cases. And 20 Sellier& Beloit.

As I said before I have a mold, reloading dies ,brass and bullet sizing h&i die that I'm not using PM me if you would be interested in buying the package. Mine was a 5.6 by 52 with a 1 and 9 twist...
I have a 225462 mold that drops oversized bullets that I size .228 and load over 6 1/2 grains of unique. Shot very well in a CZ combo gun. I got rid of the gun still have the dies and mold.

25-20 wcf. It's hard to find a good single shot in this caliber and brass is easy to make from 32-20's. Just did 200 of them. Got a Stevens 44 and a Savage Sporter. It's addictive.
I bought an older Saur& Son drilling in 8x57JR with a .318 groove. I was able to take a chamber cast and send a pic to Tom and get his opinion on the changes to an existing mold. It turned out great....
I got the six and a half inch Bisley also. Same problem as others with too short of front sight. I ended up putting a ramp with a marbles bead front sight and got the V sight insert for the rear...

The gun came with dies and about 40 cases. I spent a few minutes today forming some old 32-20 cases and it worked out great. That was a relief because I've got 200 Starline 32-20 cases on the way.
