Looking for some advice/ guidance before I drop the hammer on a mold purchase.

I'm curious to see the process you use for this.
Been shaking them myself, but I'm interested in how you're doing it.
Walkthrough and pictures? Could be a new more efficient way of doin it.

I use that same mold for my 20" rossi because of the twist rate.
Powder coated, and loaded with 5.6 gr of bullseye. Tested out some loaded with 6 gr of bullseye. Tested out a lot of loads...

I have a 20" rossi in .357, octagonal.
Any "roughness" went away after cleaning it, cycles just fine.
For what I'm doing, holes in paper at 100 yds, its a less expensive and more reliable...

I'm runnin 125 gr .357 through a 20" barrel. Powder coated.
Zero issues.
Made some 158 gr .38 spl +p for a friend of mine. Powder coated.
Zero issues in his 4"revolver.

As per the advice of Outpost, Bullseye powder gave me the best group.
As I don't have the info in front of me, I want to say start with 5 gr, work up to 6 gr. 5.6 gave me the best.

Whats the twist rate on that .44?
I'm seriously considering buying one

125 gr seems to be the magic number for this rossi 1:30 twist.
At 50 yds with 4, 4.5 and 5 grns of Unique, groups tightened up immensely vs. 158 gr.
Still playing around with powders.

With the gun, how do you get the bottoms coated?

So after several weeks of reading, I've decided, mostly due to cost and lack of funds, that I'm going the powder coat route. I just don't have 15 years worth of reloading or casting equipment and all...

Nope, these mic'd out to .358.
Stuck em in a caliper, same.
I had the flaring die set for loads w/ jacketed 158's that i was using for .38 spl loads for a revolver, those mic'd out at .357.

I tried some Hornady r.n. 158's I had yesterday, loaded it over 5 gr of Unique (its what I have a lot of, I've read that titegroup also works, about 4 grns of it) in mag cases just to rough in the...

Feed that.357 125grs. The twist rate vomits out 158's.

As much as I hate to say it, it needs to be hooked up to Cummins INSITE diagnostic software.

Never hurts to have a few different reloading books. Caliber-specific, ones put out by powder manufacturers, Hornady, lyman, lee.
I them to compare load data and go from there.

Would you know off hand what the twist rate is?
For some reason, a majority of the rossi rifles run a 1 in 30 twist for .357, .44 and I think the .45 colt
