I use Wano PP in my 45/70 and 45/90 and Wano FFFg in my muzzle loaders as Goex is getting difficult to find here. I find the Wano OK and at its price, get to shoot a lot more. Try it and see.

My #1 wears a limbsaver and makes the heavy loads far more tolerable. I have a couple of Sharps for low end 45/70 loads but save the Ruger for full power loads that I hunt with.

I use the RCBS 250 FN GC bullet that we use in our 375 Marlin. In the H&H 45 gns of H4895 gives me respectable plinking accuracy and about 1800 fps. Alloy is ww plus 2% Sn sized to .377"....
