I have a KKM in my Glock 35. It is very accurate and leading has been a non issue for me.
I'm using the Mihec 95gr HP over 3.1 grains of 231 in my Bodyguard. Extremely accurate. YMMV.

I like the Federal bulk stuff in my rifles and handguns. For better accuracy I step up to the Federal Automatch. Really nice stuff.

They are ok when new, but don't hold up real good. I have a couple 30 rounders, but rarely use them as I have a bunch of surplus mags
Forum: Leverguns
When FN relocated Winchester M70 production to the new plant in SC quality was vastly improved. Featherweights we received a year or so before the move were horrible. The ones since the move have...
Forum: Reloading Equipment
Great advice. I use a Pro 2000 with the primer strips and check the charge weight and OAL every time I load a new strip (25 rounds). Yeah it slows you down a little, but well worth it IMHO.

I've been using an RCBS 2000 for several years now. Have not and do not plan on adding the auto index. I can load 100 pistol rounds in 15-20 min. That is setting up the machine and loading the...
For the most part 38's will shoot about the same out of .357's in my experience. There are always some exceptions, but you should get satisfactory results.
My PPC match guns are 357's (Stock 686...

Finally received my 35PB Checkmaker from Pat. It looks great! The craftsmanship is top notch. Well worth the wait. :drinks:
Hope to try it out later today and will post pics.

None exist that I've seen. When they were coming over some didn't have mags so the importer had some made, so a few spare 5 rounders pop up from time to time.

Beautiful rifle. I've been wanting one of these for a long time, just haven't made myself buy one.

My all time favorite is IMR4895. Works well with several jacketed bullet weights and will work for cast too.

When they were coming over we sold literally hundreds of them. Never saw one with a stock finish like that.

That is a phenomenal buy. Does it still have the serial number or has it been scrubbed? LOL, JK!
These rifles new sell for about twice that, and that is without the Leupold.
Forum: Cast Boolits
I've noticed certain combinations where a slower powder will help reduce/prevent leading. A heavy for caliber boolit and/or fast twist will see the most benefit of a slower powder. In these cases...

I have the UL and it is a tack driver! I had a regular LUX before this one and accuracy is about the same, just the longer barrel makes it easier for me to shoot. I also added a peep sight that...

I've used the hot glue method for a couple of my boolit designs. It works quite well. Might have to look into this as an option.
Forum: Cast Boolits
I've been using Winchester Super brass with mild loads in the range you are talking about without the same issues. Might want to try some of that.
That's what is great about this forum. You can find new ways of doing things you wouldn't have thought of otherwise!
Great pick up! I have the 24-3 in the 6 1/2" barrel and it is a sweet shooter. You won't regret it!

I bought the Fulton Armory Mirage complete competition set up. Kinda expensive, but the performance is top notch!
