Not sure on the lead. We had cast some 357 to hunt with, 50/50 with clip on wheel weights and some solder to help with fill out. Worked well on pigs and a few deer we were lucky enough to harvest.

Thanks for the info. I will be getting an aftermarket barrel wrench in a few days. It did come with a brass looking shim and a barrel wrench. The barrel wrench looks like a nut with flats that engage...
I was in the local gun store today and happened across this Dan Wesson 15-2 357 mag revolver.
It came with 2", 4", 6", and an 8" barrels. It does not appear to have been shot very much.
It is from...

After many failed attempts at making my own, I settled on Carnauba Red for traditional bullets and 45/45/10 for tumble lube.
I bought a few thousand small pistol primers last week at a local gun shop. So far I've loaded up 50 .357 mags and 50 9mms. They both loaded and shot just as any others I've loaded. They are just as...

Well lets see... I'm located just West of 18L(36R depending on the wind), so I'd probably come in on 18L exit Echo 8, Echo 8 to Echo, Echo to Echo 2 and clear the movement area the GA ramp. ...
Purchased 500 .357 mag brass. Fair price, securely packaged, and fast shipping.
What's not to like? A+ :drinks:
I honestly don't remember why I picked 3.2 grains. I cast and loaded a few hundred, shot an informal steel plate match with some friends and haven't cast anymore. The recoil impulse seems sharper...

All of my long guns wear glass, but my 44 mag has a green fiber optic front sight and the 357 had the factory sights until I added a scope mount with a Bushnell First Strike red dot. Works great!
I size all my 9MM bullets to .357 dia. I cast and loaded a few hundred Lee 356-102-1r with 3.2 grains W231 in 9MM for fun, they were O.K. but went back to the heavier (120-125g)Lee TL and...

At most local public ranges here you have to shoot a revolver or a single shot/bolt gun if you want to keep your brass. There are atleast two guys that bring buckets and a small broom and dust pan....

My mold was waiting on me when I got home. The wife and daughter are out of town and it's been raining all day. I think someone is trying to tell me to make some boolits. I think I'll listen.

Five stations should be enough.
I use a Rock Chucker, Lee 4 hole turret, Pro 1000, and recently aquired a Lee Load Master.
I usually size, deprime, case prep, and prime separately off the press.
