I would like to shoot cast bullets out of my K31 for a few reasons
1. less wear and tear on the rifle and brass
2. would like to shoot more! (cheaper)...

Although it's obvious why that your gun took a dump but I would also examine all my loading practices just to make sure.

But all things aside it is very good to hear you are okay.

And to simply answer post 22 (davidoo) you cannot neck size for the Garand. As a general rule, always full length size for an automatically cycling load.
