What you offering on the safety primes and the *** scale? Like new in box. (where they will remain until sold/traded/parted out)
I love Lee stuff, but these two items are in dire need for...

I'd skip the riser and the safety prime and get a hand primer to prime your brass.
The safety prime is very finicky and I've finally given up on it and prime off- press. (yes, I've enlarged the...

Yes but with ammo (not amoo) :-)
Just so I understand... the extra set of pins are blanks so I'll be getting an HP mold with one set of hp pins and one set of blank pins?

Thanks guys. Plenty of food for thought. Let me look for the plug-in kind so I don't have to deal with batteries.

Hi,
Just getting into reloading and while I have a RCBS 10-10, I'd like to get a digital scale as well for a 'second opinion'.
Is the Frankford Arsenal DS-750 a reasonably decent scale for $20 or...

Not necessarily true. You just need to use judgement when making a purchase. (Car repair shops are full of Jaguars - not so many Hondas).
I got a framing hammer from Harbor Freight for $8.99....

I agree. Use a hand primer.
(The priming arm 'll probably cost $15-20) and you'll be happier with a Lee Hand primer.

You need one of each (my Harbor freight one is doing fine - for now). Check out Amazon for a micrometer that costs around $15 - it is pretty decent at 0.0001 inch.. (vernier micrometer).

Luck of the draw I guess... I got referred to the website to purchase a large Primer tube for the Bench priming tool when all I need is the plastic bushing (that was missing when I bought the entire...

For those of us just getting our molds warm for the first time, how does one take advantage of this? I suspect the junk yard isn't going to drop prices based on commodity rates (or will they?)

and I have 2 Stutzens and NO charger clips :(
Just getting into reloading so this is a timely reminder to remain attentive.

Square piece of stiff cardboard the size of the primer box.
Round hole in it the size of the plastic tray.
Cover 'n tip. It still leaves some primers in the box, but at least you won't be hunting...

Welding gloves are always great to have around the house. Very versatile.
Just remember that they are not totally heat proof - so don't hold on to very hot items for long as the heat will get...

Hmm... Worth a try with my rusty(ish) reloading press handle.

Hope all went well and hearty Congratulations.

You won't get much usable lead out of a battery. Just go get some from the scrap yard.

Looks like I'm 'search challenged' today. Can't find it on Amazon.

So is the only difference that the new version is finger actuated whereas the Auto-Prime XR is/was thumb actuated?
