The coating is one the wheel weights so that they look better on wheels and for protection of the lead. A set of side cutters cuts right through them. I deal with those everyday at work.

I also recommend the Lee 4-20 Pot. Its a good pot for the price. The new design has a upgraded metal handle that helps with the drip issue. I have the new design and haven't had any drip issues....

Most molds I have used the lettering is recessed in the ingot. I think it fills and releases better. But thats just my two cents. Im excited that this is moving forward!
