oh i don't know about elephants but i usually shoot at least 80-100 grains. never have liked to shoot over 100 gr of loose because i never saw much of an improvement and yes i agree with u RRR about...

I have a 357 gp 100 ruger. I bought the scope mount for it when i got the gun to put a red dot on it. worked fairly well for the red dot.

but when i put a scope on i had problems with the screws...
