A 54 caliber mountain rifle was listed 2 days ago on a Canadian forum. Looks unused. No takers yet but the guy has it listed as a Hawken---that and $500.00!

I have Investarms Hawkens in all the calibers they offered. Also have a few of their other models. They are nice, well built production rifles.

Regarding the markings. The gun was listed as 45 caliber. The marking on the barrel says 50 caliber. The bore looked small to me for 50 caliber. I cannot get my 50 caliber bore light down the bore....

I count 8 grooves. It sure looks like a minute man but there is no marking at all of Numrich Arms or Hopkins & Allen.

Apparently you can get arrow knocks that light up and I have heard of people using those for a bore light. Apparently they are cheap. I can't say for sure as I never tried them.
