Hornady is absolutely the worst. I quit referencing their manuals and if using their bullets I look for something close and work up.

There are many charts that list powder by burn rate, but that doesn't mean you can just swap powders based on burn rate alone.

Even with bolt actions you can have issues feeding unless FL sized. My brother tried neck sizing 300 WSM and cartridges wouldn't make the trip from the magazine to the chamber. Then he...
I told my LGS they could keep their 6.99/100 primers
Me neither. I think of it as "patina", and it shows you love your guns enough to shoot them :p
I feel the 38+P is adequate for the vast majority of situations, excluding perhaps bears. For the woods I usually up it to 45 Colt tier 2 or better. I don't even own a 357 anymore.

There is your first mistake. Been loading for decades and never even owned one of them.

Digital scales are best kept in a box under the bench behind the powder and primers, never to see the light of day ;)
Don't know where you heard that, but what you found with rifles applies to pistols. Heavier recoils more, and is quite evident by holes in target printing higher with heavier bullets than lighter...

Contender barrels in 35 Rem have a rep for headspace issues. Some shooters have their barrel chambers relieved for a rim to eliminate this issue. Have you tried other primers in these loads and...
Mine wouldn't fire consistently with the 9#er but does with the 10. I left the return spring original to retain a quick reset. Having changed return springs in the past I found they didn't make...

I love the Lee turret, but I don't use it as designed. I use it essentially as a single stage press. What I appreciate is quick change-overs as I keep my die sets in turrets and all I need to is...
If the Judge could handle Ruger only 45 Colt loads, 30k PSI, then I'd say fine. But, I don' think it would last but for one shot. Any gun is better than no gun, and bears have been killed with...
I have shipped a gun directly to Ruger for repair and had it shipped directly back to me after repairs. Perhaps this applies here?
What is more important is throat diameter relative to barrel groove diameter.

It's not uncommon to see a difference after first resize. I always run through the trimmer once and they are good from there on out.
45 Colt, loaded to it's full potential, will suffice. And in a package that is easy to carry.

I wish more would do this. Then you could add pages as new data is introduced rather than buying a whole book. That said, I get most of my data online.
