I've got an idea that casting for my sks is a good idea. I haven't cast or reloaded for a semi-auto yet. Does anyone here have experience with the sks?

Thats a good start! Thanks guys. The sizing die i need would have to fit on a lee or rcbs press.

Does anyone have a mold and sizing die for .268? I have a Carcano and getting the right sized bullets for it in Northern Alberta is rather difficult. If such tools do not exist, what does a guy need...

Nah. They need to come out with the 464 in .44mag, .357mag and 45LC. That rifle is too good to have in only one caliber

I really like my 464. I have some gas checked cast boolits loaded up for my next range day. Should be fun. To echo what others have said, my gun loves the hornady 165 ftx bullets.

It could be the shoulder needs a little nudge back, or too much powder. I'd guess powder. Unless the trim length is all wrong. Check that too.

As long as you have a 6-48, you're good. Use a drill press. I didnt. :)

I'm a bit suprised how badly folks think of this rifle. The italians were very happy with it through 4 or 5 wars. Thats as many as the Americans fought with the 30-06...

I've used 8208 for 6 years now. I load 30g in my 30-30. Never had any problems with it. Regularly get 2100fps ish and no flattened primers or extraction issues. I've loaded ftx and cast.

I own a Mossberg 464. Bought it 6 years ago for 365$. Sold it to my brother. He sold it to my father-in-law. I traded a 30-06 for a Savage 99 in .308 and traded it for the Mossberg back. Should never...
