It is not hard to get 500 gr to 1200 FPS. Most people load down to subsonic loads with their 500 gr boolets. I believe I got mine up to 1375 fps using H335.

My TCM rifle using 37g PCC bullets over 2.4g of unique averages 1357fps.

Hot loaded 40g vmax bullets over 11.2g of H110 get up to over 2800fps in the same rifle.

I, for one, would love to see novelty exploding bullets like the OP is talking about unregulated.

Along with suppressors, full auto, forward grips, short barrels, and just about everything else...

I use an NOE 37g mould. But I cast for the standard 22 TCM, not the 9R version. I think it would work just fine though. I load at 1.198" OAL.
