For tumble method, according to the pics posted, so far the nicest yet. I had to look twice thinking it was applied by ES gun.

I've decided to stick with standard lube for all my 45s. Because of the low pressure and velocity,I see no benefit except looking pretty.it has to go through the sizer anyways so it gets the wax...

I just got this mold from Accurate. Originally 225B specifically for 300BLK. I had the rear cut to lighten the weight. Haven't shot it yet. Will do tomorrow and be back with a range report. ES PC...

I wasn't having any luck shooting that boolit powder coated without a gas check. in my opinion the gas check for that boolit is required for bearing area. Without it there is just not enough bearing...

This was already brought up. Its all politics. Maybe a donation would get it going.

True.....
I use ES PC on all my rifle boolits, BUT piglet method for my pistol boolits. Piglet method, for now , is doing the job: higher volume, faster process, no smoke, and no leading. I...

I feel your pain LOL !!!!! I actually gave up on my third try with piglet method. Then when back a week later to try again. A lot of variables to consider: thinner amount, thinner dry time, thinner...

Bangerjim, does this jig leave the base or the nose left naked ? If coats the sides and base then Im gonna try it. You got a pic of the boolits in the jig by any chance? Thanks

I say yes to low velocity such as 45ACP or reduced 40sw or subsonic 9mm.
No to higher velocities and/or loads that uses fast powder.
At one time I was using jacketed bullets with exposed lead...

Here's some ES PC'd boolits with Alox that has been applied only on the lube grooves, nearly a month ago. It's all good. No corrosive reaction. Don't mind all the lint, this batch been sitting under...

It don't smell bad while shooting....
Joking aside, to really answer your question, probably nothing. But you are only asking pistol performance ONLY.

The idea of building a jig is to take two huge steps forward. Its about getting awesome results. Awesome results is a byproduct of hard work. :bigsmyl2:

Forgot to add. ...
My benefit for pistol no more messy tumbling with Alox, less smoke, and especially increasing the boolit diameter for my Lee 9mm TL.
For rifle, no more lead in the BCG and...
