Thanks for the tip, the monster under my bench swallowed a small can of Redding sizing lube two weeks ago, I still can't find it. Perhaps i'll call it a sacrifice and install a similar mod.

The only reason I have seen "lubed" powder coated bullets is because somebody left grease in the Lubesizer...

GFL standard caliber brass 9,45, 223 etc. seem fine. I sort by Head-stamp for everything and have never had any issues with GFL. I do have a few range pickup 30-30 cases from GFL and they don't seem...

I borrowed a Sinclair/Wilson trimmer to run some full length sized 260 Remington brass, it came with a 308 case holder but my brass slid in loose. It took a while to learn they have case holders for...

For the oven, I started with a left over one tray toaster oven from Sears it melted powder coat but it wasn't smooth. My wife tired of my grumbling and reading Smoke's tutorial I had printed out...

I am still learning to cast great bullets like some I see here so I cull after casting is complete. I water quench, dry the bullets and then sort one by one. 1500 bullets takes awhile to sort through...

Thank you for that, I am looking for a .25ACP bullet for range only work. The 50-RF might be the ticket. Those little bullets in plated or jacketed have been very hard to find.
I have used the LEE 102gr and had to seat it deep to feed in a Bersa, 0.930 OAL, I have heard good things about the LEE 95gr bullet and plan to order one of those for the next attempt at 380.

Thanks for that link, I have been looking that exact item recently. I just wish my 125 Blackout bullets ran as well as some of you here both the Nosler BT and Speer TNT. With Nosler BT, 16.5gr H110 @...

I picked up a couple ounces of excess blue powder from a local painter and it worked about as well as one coat of Harbor Freight White :( I found that cleaning the bullets with Acetone first and...

Another 45 vote, between ACP and Colt I have not found an easier to cast bullet. (Guess it doesn't help I'm a newbie)...

Glad to hear the 95gr is working, I am not happy seating the 102 as deep as I had to and opted for Hornady XTP's for the wife to shoot with. 100 rounds last her all month in 380, not so much for me.

A local farmer who lets me shoot on his range ran a carriage bolt in from the back of his wood frame and uses metal "S" hooks to hold up the chains. He cut out a little slot in the bottom of the wood...

I found powder coating cast range scrap has worked well for my Glock. The last 1000 rounds powder coated all did exactly what they were asked to do against both paper and steel foe alike. I think I...

Retro, thanks for digging this up. I have a 17 frame waiting for a purpose in life and this is what I want it to be but can't justify the build without a bullet for the case.

Always liked the 44-40 cartridge though I don't own anything chambered in it. But I did have a lot of fun in the woods with a buddies old 300 Savage from his grandpa, that lever gun went bang every...
