Quickest way to find out. Is take a piece of brass that fits in it, fill it full of black powder, put a couple wads on top and fire it. You should be able to see what's going on then.

I think I'm going to try switching some of my current loads to .060 ldpe and see if it works as well. I have 2 currently using them.

That would explain a lot. My go to wads for my loads has always been a .030 veg under a .030 ldpe. once in a while I'll start a load out on .060 ldpe just cause I got so many and need to use them up....
