YUP! I load 75G of H335 or BLC2 behind a 500G cast. It will clear your sinuses and cause retina detachment. It kicks harder than my custom 460 WBY with no muzzel brake.

I had Bullberry build me one with a 12" barrel yers ago for a Contender. Due to the case taper, it set back on fireing and I broke a couple extractors.
I ended up tapping fired cases out with a...

I agree with the above. I have blown the Pachmeyer forend off mine three times. The screw can't handle the recoil!
I never trim straight wall pistol brass. You begin to run into neck splits before they need trimming.
I use the Lyman #311291 which drops at 170G using wheel weights. It is inherently accurate with all my 30's.
I have both the Lee key and the Lyman 525. Lee say's to use pure lead and they mean it. They are tough to get off the mold due to the two fingers that form the key. I cast a few hundred and loaded a...

I use 15G of H1680 behind a 121G Lyman cast boolit.

I use 8mm mauser brass to make 7.7 Jap. One pass through the die, load & fire. It's done. Then I do a final light trim to uniform the cases.

Midway now sells that stock. I have one on my Garand along with a new Sarco barrel and National match sights. I shot a 10 round 300yd. 4" group last weekend with a handload of 51G IMR4064 over a Win...

I have an M44 refurb that will clang a 12" gong at 300yds. using Bulgarian surplus ammo.

I make my 7.65Arg brass from mil. 30-06. simply run it into a 7.65 size die then using a tubing cutter, slice at the ring on the case, then do the final case trim.
Works like a champ. I use 42G of...
My standard load in the ultra is a Win. AA with a 525 made of range scrap over 45G of Blue Dot. I get 1-1/2-2min groups but I run a fine wire ss brush down the bore after every round dry to clean out...
I find that after using the solvents, if there are rough spots, a #2 lead pencil will clean things up and leave a thin film of graphite that is a great boolit release.

I have a Martini Greinier that was once a zulu era weird shotgun. I decided to convert it to 40-65 Win. so I bought a Douglas premium full bull barrel blank and had my smith chamber and install it....

I also have a tropical in 458, my standard load is 75G of H335 behind a Lyman 405G GC lino boolit. It shoots moa as long as I do my part, but is a nasty kicker.
If there is a minor rust problem or some major sticking of boolits, I use a #2 lead pencil. It will clean out grunge in the mold and put down a light coat of graphite.
This will take any rough...

I have an old Contender dedicated to the 45-70 with a Bullberry 14"barrel.
It has Pachmeyer stocks and Burris 4X scope. I destroyed 3 Simmons & Bushnel scopes before the Burris and this has lasted...

Due to the mass that you are pouring it is common for the melt to remain hot, IE frosty. When you remelt to cast boolits, if you control the temp, the end result will be nice shiny results!

I have used TCCI 870 in the 300 Win mag & 460 Weatherby improved. Just fill the case to the neck & seat a heavy boolit on it. No pressure, but left a hard to clean fouling in the bore.

I like the Lyman powered trimmer with a carbide cutter. Works like a champ! I had the RCBS power trimmer. Didn't like it and sold with 22 & 30 cal cutters to a friend for 40 bucks.

I have three of them. I have sized tens of thousands of boolits on them. The only problem was if you stressed them to much, it would tweak the guide rods. They are now resting in a box somwhere in my...

Linotype is about the best mix for good casting and hardness. Tin allows a better flow/fill of a mold but to much creates solder and drops the melt temp to a point of causing leading of the bore.

I have 4 Contenders. One dedicated to 45-70 w/ Bullberry barrel, another to a 10" octagonal 22 RF, on the others I tend to use 14" 30-30 & 223 the most even though I have 30+ barrels in my...

Remember that antimony will not dissolve into your mix until it is above 800 degree's. A lot of people skim it off and toss it. Big loss!
