Loverin style bullets work great.

my .2 --not an expert but have had and loaded for 3 .358...
a 22'' Savage lever
a tang model 16.5'' Ruger
a 22'' rebarelled Weatherby vanguard
as far as I am concerned with jsp 225gr is the peak of all weights--
my Weatherbye will give 2507 fps either the 225 gr Nosler --225 gr Sierra-- 220 gr Speer
the 200 gr are a little faster-- but not enough to matter 2620-- but they slow down fast but the gummie bear bullets are cool
the 250's peaked in 2300's
for cast --I am shooting the Lee .358 200gr -- at .35 Remington speeds--
to if I were invest in a custom mold it would be in the the 225-say 260 gr range with a descent meplat around 2300 +
Accurate molds has one listed that the owner made for his Browning .358 -- it is 240 gr as I remember & would likely be my pick
The owner's mold is a 210gn found here.

This is a 5 shot group from a 23" A&B 1-14" on a Santa Barbara 98 , long pull single stage trigger @ 4# , with a Weaver K4 post and cross hair . 100 yd @ 3,940 ft 70° .
IMR 4350 , CCI 200 , FC brass , RCBS 35-250 WW , Darrs lube , aluminum check (Sages I think) , @2100 fps . The 5th shot went wild due to a lost check .

I don't know what kind of groups you guys need but this particular rifle will deliver this with Unique and the Lee 358-200 and 358-228 35 XCB . Groups were about the same at 50 with the 358-158 RF and the Lyman 148&161 gr WC .
I found it about 15' in front of the bench ........ Virgin shooting area , I was the only one with a 35 ..... I changed my process for the FP cast and preseated them on the XCB with an aircraft rivet squeezing tool .
I suspect that the gas check came completely off in the case .
Even with the out of group bullet Bambi , Ben or Bullwinkle would be in a lot of trouble .
