That was a steal! I once picked up a Mec 600 for $5.
Go buy a lottery ticket! This is your day!
Three full bags and one pound or all in one container? All the same size?
Was the Ex husband anywhere in sight? Gp
I get dragged to yard sells and never find much. I gota pound of pewter a few months ago.
then you are being taken to the wrong yard.
super great find, congrats
Thats a super score! Makes you wonder if there was a death or a divorce in the family.
When I started loading shotgun shells about 1974, the best price I ever paid for a 25# bag of shot (at the store) was $6.75 or so IIRC. You got an unbelievably good price for it, even if the sizes are mixed or whatever. I would almost come to Oregon myself to get it for that kind of price! Ya done good, Pilgrim, ya done real good! :drinks:

Thats the kind of deal that you come across every once in a great while. That keeps a smile on your face from ear to ear all the way home.
I bought the shot from an elderly gentleman that said he got out of reloading some time ago.
He said he was glad someone finally took it off his hands.:).......dale
That was a great deal. You hit it at the right time. You never know what you will find.I am not that lucky.
Scored some free shot today. Seems that at the trap range the ants carry it out of the ground when they dig their tunnels. They lay it out around the entrance in a 3 to 4 foot circle. It's only 1/8" deep but two mounds yielded 14-1/2 pounds. I just have to clean it up a little. Using it for Cowboy Action so it doesn't matter if it's deformed. Gotta go back when I have more daylight.
mighty nice of them to labor for your benefit.
