5:4 beeswax to olive oil.
I just hand apply and let the excess get cut off when loading.
For those that do not want to mix anything up, DO-ALL "Tool Saver" works great and last tube (like a tube of caulking or glue) was about 5 bucks.
Looks a whole lot like some commercial products. Really looks like FWFWL.

Larry Gibson also uses that formulation (5:4 beeswax:olive oil) is because I got it from one of his posts on here or another location on the net.
I just knead it into the lube grooves and let the muzzle trim it. Kinda messy when I do it all afternoon at the range, but for hunting it is no biggie.
Maybe I should start cooking some local juniper in it so the deer will not recognize me as a EVOO fan.
