You mean unmodified factory units?
I don't think anything that really matters.
The lead pour bracket has changed.
The early models only had the bolt holes needed to use it only on the MC pot.
The later models have a second set of unused holes which are used when most people automated them.
Other then the above, I have seen early machines and brand new machines and they are pretty much identical.
The biggest change was they went from a cast iron pot to a formed steel pot. In the operation of the machine, that won't make any difference at all, but in the long run, if the orifice edge needs to be "sharpened", it's harder to do with cast iron. This is the seat between the pour rod and the orifice, which is made to be a sharp edge, and controls the flow of alloy. If the sharp edge wears down, then dripping occurs.

‘Used’ units sell for around $800 and I would figure that is the same for this unit.
It may be NIB but it’s out of warranty and as such means it should be considered ‘used’ but maybe at a slightly higher price

I have an "old" unit, the frame is made of cast iron, i believe the new ones are aluminium? It didn't come with a cooling fan, but i don't know if that is because it was removed or if it was a later addition. Even after all those years, the pivot points have zero play, great machine.
The pot i have uses cartridge heaters mounted in the base, the newer ones have a band heater that can be prone to earth leakage when starting from cold. I have a mate that had one that would keep tripping the breaker unless he used an isolation transformer to heat it up and evaporate any moisture that it adsorbed.
