does anybody on here use the hyskore, dangerous game shooting rest for sighting in your rifles
Attachment 226067 just received mine from midway and got it put together and wanted to know if anybody had any tips or tricks to this thing before I started messing with it
looks very simple.
Interesting, please keep us posted.
Ha!Ha! I laughed so hard when I read your post, I blew the picture up and was wondering if it was a rifle rest or some sort of farm equipment you back a tractor up to wondering if you have enough remote valves for all those hydraulic cylinders. I suppose you could use it for dangerous game if you mounted the whole contraption on the front of a D9 cat.
Ah! The American Way. Take a simple concept, throw a ton of money at it and make it as complicated as possible, then you have an end product that works almost as well as the original simple concept but now one has some real one-upmanship bragging rights. :-?
Rube Goldberg would be envious of that rest.
You can pretty much rule out the human error with that. And I assuming correctly that the hyd. cylinders counteract the recoil? On my Lead Sled weight is used for this and even without extra ballast it's ponderous. Get your gun perfectly dialed in with that then go forth confident.

yes sir that's what its for, taking human error out of the equation,it has 3 cylinders, you only use 1 at a time, the top one,the 2 lower are in storage spots, you have mild, medium and heavy for different amounts of recoil and it has a no touch hydraulic trigger pull system, that wasn't in the picture, when fired its supposed to come right back in to battery and not need adjusting,if fastened down on a heavy enough table
You can recoup your investment by sighting in (for a fee) those super MagMax rifles for the guys that have them and are scared of them!

it was only a little higher than a lead sled so as long as the wife and I and a few friends get good use out of it ill be happy
I`m still using 8 old 25 lb. canvas lead shot bags full of sand. I have a `bull butt` `V` bag rest also full of sand. I must be old since I still sight in rifles, etc. the old fashioned way. To reduce finish wear from the shot bags I covered them with old cut up bath towels the Frau was pitching.Robert
