I was talking about 177 air rifle pellets Thanks
I have thought about doing it. My concern is powder coat leaves a small imperfection where it is sitting. This doesn't matter to s powder burner.
Maybe some one will figure it out
You could do it the same as a hollow point or hollow base bullet and place it on a screw point or nail thumb tacks stuck threw a piece of card stock my even work well.
If you have pellets that are too small, powdercoat will add a bit of diameter.
Many pellets are lightly oiled in the manufacturing process, that oil could give some trouble.
I have powdercoated 45 bullets that had been lubed in liquid alox. Worked ok after letting them soak over night in lacquer thinner, then wiped with a paper towel.
My son is getting in to air rifles and we have found out its not the Red Ryder BB guns we thought! This is a whole different world of shooting sport from what we are used to.
Indid a bunch of large pellets 30 & 35 calmfor a guy who was into PCP he had leading problems. He said that the leading was cured but didnt get expansion and accuracy was slightly off?
