32-40 loads
Have a Marlin 93 late model made in 1924, round barrel in 32-40. Have a nickel plated Marlin 32-40 marked loading tool that has a single cavity bullet mould. There are no dies with the tool and I use regular loading dies. Whats a good combination for a cast bullet load?

There are three molds I use in my Marlin Model 1893 in 32-40 !
My rifle is circa 1906 also !
I first used the RCBS 32-170GC mold . later I picked up a Lyman 321297 and not to very long ago (meaning about 4 months) I got one of the Ranch Dog test molds 323-170GC .
I use XMP5744 with all three of these bullets . And have used the RCBS bullet with 15 grains XMP5744 to take a deer before .
With all three of the above molds I started with 13 grains of XMP5744 and worked my way up to about 17 or 18 grains . I also use the CCI200 primer for all of my 32-40 loads.
