With 308/3006, the heavier the better. I have an NOE 300 BO sub bullet mold I also make 30-06 subs with trail boss. Completely silent with a can.
Have any of you ever powder coated the Lee 170 or 180 grain or RCBS 165 308 rifle bullets?
Do you have to gas check either of these bullets?
Yep, I PC the Lee180gn. I do gas check them to get a flat base. Seating the gas check fully and square to the bore is one of the most important parts of accurate bullets.
