I have a new, never fired, Springfield Armory M1 Garand in .308. I tried to sell it once before and got a lot of questions. It is the recent manufactured new Springfield Armory Garand. S.A. Inc. did indeed make a run of Garands in both .308 and .30-06 starting in the 7 Million serial number range.
They are very well made Rifles.

From the photos I believe I am looking at a M1 Garand. I have two of them and they all look alike.

In 1985, I bought a new one of those in 30-06. They are fine rifles. I don't have either the money or need for this rifle, but it is a high quality rifles every bit as good in quality as those made by US Govt or one of their contractors.
